Mark Wendling, Founder and Managing Partner of Bannockburn Securities LLC joins CFOradio.com to share his perspective on coming from the trade/analyst side of finance and how foreign currencies work with the treasury function.

Prior to founding Bannockburn Securities, Mark was a Managing Director of Capital Markets Trading at Fifth Third Bancorp for sixteen years. While there, he managed various aspects of their foreign exchange business assisting clients with currency related issues. Mark is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and a graduate of the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio with an Economics & Finance degree, Summa Cum Laude.

Jane Fonda Lorraine Chilvers Michelle OzumbaJane Fonda founded the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention in 1995 to combat Georgia’s number 1 ranking of the highest teen pregnancy rate.  With the help of their organization, Georgia now ranks 10th.

Jane and Michele discuss the social, economic and financial aspects of their non-profit.  Not only do they serve young girls who may have their first child as young as 10 years old, but they save the State of Georgia $224 million per year by doing so.  Many non-profit organizations have felt the strong impact of the economic downturn, however, they create a positive “GDP” for Georgia in the work they do.
